Newbridge is one of 20 towns around the country to launch a local cottage market.

The local organisers said; “Newbridge is a thriving commercial town, the commercial heart of the county. It has a population of over 22,000 people and many more regular visitors, because of the shopping and to visit attractions such as Newbridge Silverware.
The team behind the new venture is aiming to host its first market in June and are now looking for expressions of interest

The Cottage Market Newbridge will be a monthly market in Newbridge Town Hall, part of a national initiative from GIY Ireland, supported by Ulster Bank and The Ireland Funds. The aim of this not-for-profit, community market is to showcase the wonderful products of local growers, bakers, and crafters, especially amateurs and small home business operators.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from potential stallholders, especially small-scale growers and food producers.
